- Keep dressing on incision for 48 hours. Then, remove dressing, but leave steri-strips in place. They will come off in shower in a few days.
- Take all antibiotics as directed.
- If excess pain or swelling, call Dr. Raju’s office.
- Take first shower or bath two days after surgery. No sutures are to be removed. Make appointment to see Dr. Raju in two weeks or sooner if problem develops
- It is important to bathe and clean incision with soap every day.
- It is important to be active and work the operated leg; resume your normal daily activity immediately.
